The predator water around the corner
For anglers from Hoofddorp, Amstelveen, Uithoorn and Kudelstaart the Westeinderplassen are home water — but without a boat of your own most of the lake stays out of reach. From our jetty at Oosteinderweg 75 in Aalsmeer you hire an aluminium fishing boat for the day and have all the reed beds, islands and channels at your disposal. From Hoofddorp it's a ten to fifteen minute drive via the N201, from Amstelveen and Uithoorn a quarter of an hour.
Ideal for a short fishing day
Precisely because you live nearby, hiring for a day is easy: board at 09:00, fish until 17:00 and be home in time. Also in winter — then the water is quiet and the pike are concentrated on the deeper edges. Read winter pike fishing for the tactics.
Practical
- €150 per day (09:00–17:00), including fuel, life jackets and a chart.
- No boat licence needed, but the driver must be 18+. No deposit.
- Free parking at the jetty, one car per boat.
