Straight from the jetty onto the Westeinderplassen
At Varen & Vissen you hire an aluminium fishing boat in Aalsmeer. You board at the Oosteinderweg and are on the Westeinderplassen within minutes: over a thousand hectares of water with islands, reed beds, ditches and deeper channels. Exactly the water where pike, perch and zander hold.
Our fishing boats are the same aluminium boats that run as pleasure boats in summer: stable, light and with a quiet outboard you may drive without a licence. In autumn and winter the cushions come out, leaving plenty of room for rods, tackle boxes and an unhooking mat.
What's included?
- Fuel — enough to move from spot to spot all day.
- Life jackets and a chart of the Westeinderplassen.
- A briefing on the boat and engine before you leave.
- Free parking at the jetty (one car per boat).
Not included: your VISpas. Everyone who fishes brings their own valid VISpas; we only rent out the boat. Read more on our VISpas & rules page.
Prices and times in the fishing season
From October to March our fishing-season rates apply. A full fishing day from 09:00 to 17:00 costs €150 per boat, fuel included and no deposit. Several days in a row? Message us and we'll make a suitable arrangement.
Who is this for?
Predator anglers without a boat of their own, anyone travelling from further away who doesn't want to tow a trailer, and friends or colleagues who want to fish together for a day. Each boat fishes best with two or three people; with several boats you can take a bigger group out.
